The Cultural Spring

The Cultural Spring is a six-year project that will get more people in Sunderland and South Tyneside to experience and be inspired by arts and culture.

Watch a film of Our First Three Years

Artists are already working in our ten wards to enthuse, educate and encourage residents, and to work with them in developing an exciting programme of performances, workshops, and other activities.

We’ve already got a lot going on in our wards which are Hendon, Millfield, Pallion, Sandhill and St Anne’s in Sunderland, and Horsley Hill, Beacon and Bents, Simonside and Rekendyke, Monkton and Bede in South Tyneside.
