Surreal Collage Easter Cards Workshop
Tuesday 23rd March, 10am, 11am and 7pm (40 min session repeated during the day)
Create fun, joyful Easter cards using surrealist techniques. Think leaping hares, painted eggs, daffodils, fluffy chicks but reimagined to create a surprising Spring image to send to someone you’re thinking of!
Salt Dough Make and Model Workshop with Sue Loughlin
Tuesday 30th March, 10am-11.30am
Learn to make salt dough and create a range of outcomes inspired by Easter seasonal symbols, Anthony Gormley’s ‘Field’ and your imagination!
Writing Bootcamp with James Whitman
Starts Saturday 3rd April
Want to power through the first draft of that novel? Every Saturday in April, James Whitman will be running a writing bootcamp on YouTube that will take you from raw ideas to a fat stack of writing. Then in May, James will help you edit your writing in a series re-drafting and critique sessions.
Card Making Workshops with Infinite Arts
Wednesday 14th April and Wednesday 21st April, 11.00am-12.30pm
Make beautiful cards that you can send to friends and family. You will use items you find around the home such as petals and leaves and learn simple collage techniques.
Suitable for adults and children aged 8+ (Under 16s will need to be accompanied on screen by an adult family member).
Folking Around The World Part 2 with Sinead Livingston
Starts Thursday 15th April, 2pm-3.30pm
Explore the world and folk traditions through the medium of song during 8 weekly sessions. Includes fun vocal warm ups, simple harmony work, and some guest practitioners from a variety of countries and cultures.
Summer Writers with Amanda Quinn
Starts Monday 19th April, 1pm-3pm
Get writing this summer with a course of 10 creative writing workshops and activities. Writer and tutor Amanda Quinn will encourage and support you to write with weekly online workshops. No previous writing experience required.
Create a Gaudi-Inspired Insect Hotel
Tuesday 20th April, 10am, 11am and 7pm (40 min session repeated during the day)
Create an Antoni Gaudi inspired bug hotel to celebrate Earth Day. A lack of biodiversity can mean extinction for many types of plants and animals. In this workshop together we can do our bit for biodiversity, be creative and have fun!
Plabric Making Workshops with Infinite Arts
Wednesday 28th April and Wednesday 5th May, 11.00am-12.30pm
Create plabric from old plastic bags that would otherwise go into landfill. You’ll melt scrap plastic together to create a new think sheet of polythene which can be sewn and made into other items such as bags, banners and bunting.
Suitable for adults and children aged 11+ (Under 16s will need to be accompanied on screen by an adult family member).
Awesome Artists with Pui Lee
Starts Thursday 6th May
Get inspiration from the achievements of famous artists past and present including Picasso, Barbara Hepworth, Keith Haring and Van Gough to create your own Awesome Art in these 10 creative sessions taking place weekly.
Introduction to Podcasting with Curiosity Creative
Friday 7th May, 10am-1pm
Join Alex Henry and Dominic Smith for a quick hands on introduction to podcasting. They will cover the technical side, including equipment and software as well as how to devise a podcast theme and structure a show. There will be a practical element where participants will learn how to record a conversation using online tools followed by a basic introduction to audio editing. The session will end with advice on how to get your show online.
Stone Painting Workshops with Infinite Arts
Wednesday 12th May and Wednesday 19th May, 11.00am-12.30pm
Create decorative stones that you can give as gifts or leave outside for others to find.
