Encouraging people to get involved with arts and culture has always been one of the main aims of The Cultural Spring, and at the heart of that has been our workshops. Inspiring locals to dust of those long forgotten instruments, rediscover old passions for literature, art and writing or even learn new skills such as glass or ceramics work.

From costume design, samba drums and photography to creative writing, Lino Cutting and jewellery making we’ve ran a variety of workshops across all ten of our wards. There’s been bands formed, tea towels knitted and ceramics sculpted and we look forward to what the future will bring. But don’t just take it from us below is some of the feedback we’ve received from our participants on our past workshops.
