Event Details

Exploring different styles of writing, over the course of five sessions Rowan McCabe will share tips and skills on how to find topics that strike a chord with others, while still staying true to who you are. Whether you’ve never written a poem in your life, or you’ve been writing it since the day you could hold a crayon, all are welcome to these free sessions.
Rowan McCabe is a poet and performer from Newcastle upon Tyne. Aware that poetry isn’t a real job, he decided to create his own profession
and is now the world’s first Door-to-Door Poet. The project has been featured in the Guardian, on BBC Breakfast and was named ‘Best of Today’ on Radio 4. These sessions are aimed at over 65’s, but all welcome to join us.
