Graeme Danby – Great North Passion

Consett-born Graeme is an operatic bass who has performed at most of the world’s leading opera houses, including the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden and the English National Opera. He was educated at the Royal Academy of Music in London and is currently a visiting professor of music at the University of Sunderland. As well as singing a solo at the Great North Passion, Graeme trained and led a choir in singing an original piece of work by Durham composer Will Todd.
