Gilly Rogers and Aly Stoker – Summer Streets

Sunderland-based Gilly is an artist comfortable working in a variety of settings – including theatre, design projects, art and health projects and art festivals. She also teaches degree students. Gilly was joined by fellow Wearside artist Aly Stoker to work on the Bed of Roses project for The Cultural Spring, using a pop-up shed to find out what is was that made people’s lives a ‘Bed of Roses.’ They previously worked together creating banners with Southwick Primary School for the Summer Streets festival.
